What to Expect in the Red Tent Gatherings:

-
Creating Sacred Space: Each gathering begins by creating a safe, nurturing environment that allows each woman to feel welcomed and fully present, bringing a sense of calm, connection, and belonging.

-
Sacred Speech and Deep Listening: In this supportive space, women are invited to share openly and deeply, finding the invaluable experience of being truly seen and heard. Free from the fear of judgement or shame, each woman can express herself with honesty and vulnerability. This experience not only empowers but also strengthens resilience as women share in one another’s wisdom. Together, they find support in navigating hormonal fluctuations, life transitions, and the unique challenges that each stage of womanhood can bring.

-
Healing Practices and Cyclical Activities: Each Red Tent gathering introduces powerful self-care techniques drawn from naturopathic medicine, complementary therapies, and ancient wisdom. From the soothing properties of herbs to therapeutic crafts and guided journaling, participants learn nurturing practices to build resilience and ease menstrual symptoms—addressing physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being.

🌹 Red Tent Journeys for Every Stage of Womanhood:

Young Girls (Ages 12-15): "Making Peace with Your Cycle"
This Red Tent is crafted to provide a nurturing environment where young girls, accompanied by their mothers or a female carer, can begin to understand and embrace the changes their bodies are undergoing. As they approach or experience menarche, young girls often face physical symptoms like nausea and cramps, emotional shifts, and confusion or shame around their cycles. Sensitive or spiritually attuned girls may also experience heightened emotions or physical sensitivity, amplifying these challenges. Through cycle awareness, foundational self-care, and grounding activities, they’ll gain tools for emotional balance and understanding, helping them develop a holistic view of their bodies. This safe space, facilitated by an enhanced DBS-checked practitioner, encourages open discussion, allowing young girls to let go of the stigma and build confidence in their natural rhythms.

Fertility & Conscious Conception: "Holistic Pathways to Fertility and Well-being"
For women on the journey toward conception, this Red Tent offers compassionate guidance through the challenges that can arise in preparing the body and mind for this transition. Many women in this stage encounter stress around timing, hormonal balance, or the demands of preparing for pregnancy, whether they are pursuing natural conception or IVF. This gathering focuses on practical tools, such as cycle awareness and integrative techniques like Mayan Medicine, alongside spiritual and emotional preparation. Here, women find a community where they can share, learn, and strengthen their connection to themselves, nurturing both body and mind on the path to fertility.

Perimenopausal Women: "Navigating Perimenopause"
Perimenopause, which can begin up to a decade before menopause, often brings unexpected shifts in emotions, energy, and daily resilience. This Red Tent series offers support for women moving through this stage of “letting go” and embracing new possibilities. Women in perimenopause may experience irregular cycles, emotional fluctuations, and a need to re-evaluate life’s priorities and relationships. In this gathering, we focus on supportive self-care techniques that aid in emotional processing, as well as rituals that invite renewal and visioning for the future. By honouring these changes in a communal setting, women can access the power of shared experiences, gain resilience and discover a renewed sense of purpose and balance.

About Your Facilitator - Angela Stringhini
With over 15 years of clinical experience in women’s health and well-being, I am honoured to serve as your facilitator, bringing a rich tapestry of knowledge and practice to our gatherings. I was trained by DeAnna Lam at the Red Tent Academy, completing both foundational and advanced levels, along with studies at the Womb Academy. My journey has been shaped by many inspiring mentors in women’s health and holistic practices, including teachers from Red School, Sistership Circles, and the Applied Depth Institute..
As a certified Red Tent Keeper, I integrate these diverse teachings to create a deeply supportive environment in each gathering. Through my active monthly participation in the Wombs of Peace circle, I am guided by Indigenous teachings and the wisdom of elders who share ancestral knowledge passed down through generations. In this sacred gathering, I feel connected to a golden chain of wise elders, enhancing my ability to hold space where women feel truly seen and heard. Together, we keep this lineage alive, connecting women worldwide in shared wisdom and support.
My academic background includes a BSc in Naturopathic Medicine and an MSc in Psychology, which helps me support women through life’s challenges with empathy and insight. I guide them in holistic health choices across body, mind, and awareness, drawing on specialised practices in women’s health, Mayan medicine, and Sacred Rhythms. My expertise also includes fertility-focused nutritional training at the Royal Society of Medicine and advanced fertility practices, along with certification as a teacher of The Mother’s Journey for conscious conception, pregnancy, and postnatal yoga.
