🌸 What to Expect:
Our private gong bath sessions are designed to support deep relaxation and healing through sound therapy. We use a variety of ancient sound healing instruments to create a unique experience that can be customised for your group.
When you arrive, you'll be welcomed into a softly lit space, prepared with intention and care. A Neal’s Yard Remedies herbal tea will be served on arrival, and there will be a small welcome area prepared with care. This may include oracle cards and other small touches chosen to support the intention of the session. Each ceremony is held with presence, and the details may vary depending on what feels aligned on the day.
Each participant will have a yoga mat prepared for them. You're also encouraged to bring your own cushion, blanket, or eye pillow to make yourself as comfortable as possible.
The session begins with a brief guided relaxation or breath awareness to help you settle into your body. From there, you'll lie down for the duration of the sound journey.
We use a variety of sound healing tools including planetary gongs, singing bowls, shamanic drums, tuning forks, and chimes. The instruments are carefully selected by the facilitator to match the theme of the session; whether that's grounding, emotional release, celebration, or deep rest.
In some cases, you’re welcome to share your own intention and we can co-create the focus of the session together.
Each gong bath is crafted not just as a therapeutic experience, but as a gentle ritual of return: to the body, to presence, and to your own inner rhythm.
Main Instruments of the session:
-
Paiste Planetary Tuned Gongs: are tuned to the orbits of the celestial bodies in our solar system. These frequencies are made audible thanks to the groundbreaking work of Hans Cousto, author of The Cosmic Octave.
-
Jupiter Gong (28" F2#/Fis-91,79 Hz): Resonates with trust, abundance, openness, and expansion, helping to create an atmosphere of growth and positive energy.
-
Venus Gong (24" A2/A-110,62 Hz): Connected to themes of love, abundance, and completion, promoting harmony and emotional balance.
-
Accessory Instruments of the Session:
-
Wind Gong (from Wuhan): The Wind Gong produces deep, resonant tones that ripple outward in powerful waves. Its penetrating sound is perfect for clearing stagnant energy, opening up space, and creating an expansive, freeing environment.
-
Tibetan Singing Bowls: These bowls are tuned to balance the Solar Plexus (willpower) and Throat Chakra (communication).
-
Dhyangro Nepalese Shamanic Drum: This two-sided drum represents the balance of Yin and Yang energies. Traditionally used by Nepalese shamans, the drum is played during healing rituals and spiritual ceremonies. Its rhythmic beats are believed to connect the physical and spiritual realms, helping to induce a trance-like state for meditation, healing, and inner journeying. The deep, resonant sounds created by the Dhyangro drum help balance and harmonise energy, facilitating a deeper connection to oneself and the universe.
-
Shamanic Drum (7.83 Hz): With its deep, rhythmic pulse, the shamanic drum helps induce a meditative state. The drum's steady beat mirrors the Earth’s natural rhythm (Schumann Resonance), helping to reduce stress and enhance the healing process.
-
Sonic Ohm Tuning Fork: This higher expression of Ohm is also an earth tone, with its balancing and grounding properties. It is an excellent sound tool to help balance the energetic fields of the body.
-
Biosonics Crystal Tuner (4096 Hz): Tuned to the Earth’s frequency, this tuner helps clear energetic blocks and stimulates the pineal gland, harmonising circadian rhythms for better sleep.
-
Three Key Aura Chime: The smooth, penetrating tone of the aura chime eases tension and can slowly remove dense, negative energy. Aura chimes are also utilized similarly for the "space-clearing" of rooms in Feng Shui.
-
Tingsha Bells (Om): These bells are traditionally used at the beginning of the session to focus the mind and direct it to a meditative state. They are also used for space clearing and energy purification.
-
Bell and Dorje: The bell represents wisdom and the feminine aspect and the Dorje represents the creative, forceful, male energy. During ceremonies, the bell is held in the left hand with the Dorje in the palm of your right hand. The Dorje represents the method that grows compassion. The Bell represents Buddha's mind which is wisdom. Each time they are used it is to remind you to practice great compassion and wisdom.
-
Koshi Water Windchimes (A D F G A D F A, D minor pentatonic): These windchimes produce harmonious and melodic tones, making them excellent for connecting to emotions. The Aqua chime's serene and tranquil sound emulates the gentle flow of water, instilling a sense of calmness and relaxation.
-
Rain Sticks: A hollow tube partially filled with small pebbles or seeds, producing a sound that resembles falling rain. This is used to evoke a calming, rhythmic effect that promotes relaxation and grounding.
-
Thunder Tube: This instrument creates deep, resonating tones that simulate the sound of distant thunder, often used to clear energy and evoke the feeling of nature’s power, grounding and centring the participants.
-
Fairy Bells (String of 9 small bells): These delicate bells produce light, high-pitched tones that are traditionally associated with joy and lightness, making them perfect for concluding a session with a sense of peace and upliftment.
Each session is crafted to help stimulate alpha and theta brainwave states, promoting a state of deep relaxation, healing, and balance.
